Wasn’t able to go to work on Scripps server last night because some users were still on it at 6:30 PM. I did not want to kick them out because they already had a lot of downtime Monday and Tuesday. They are probably trying to catch up with all the work that piled up while the system was down.
The backups failed on Scripps again last night.
Today Mary called to report that Zuzzette could not get on the server. I called the site, got a hold of Rueben, and walked him through restarting the server. I checked the office 15 minutes later. Becky coonfirmed that everybody was up and able to log in to TEAM.
The server deactivated VOL1 right around after the backups failed. I suspect a write operation on the drive resulted in an error which caused the server to dismount the volume.
Yesterday, Mary had SCRIPPSRANCH rebooted because users had trouble logging in after their dataline got fixed. The server worked for a while then people had trouble using the NAL and getting into their user directory. Mary asked me to look at it.
When I looked at it the console log says the server has dismounted VOL1 because it had write errors. I rebooted the server again.

Today, Becky called. They can’t use the NAL again. I had the server rebooted one more time.
