My Blog is up and running | Feb 23rd 2006
I finally got this blog going. Had to go through a few hoops but learned many things in the process. It seems like wherever you go in the Internet nowadays, you can’t escape the blogs. Even those who are not computer savvy can now have a blog, thanks to the many blog hosts out there that makes blogging very easy. Now I have my own blog, not just some hosted page, but my very own, on my very own domain.
As you can see, I’m using WordPress, which is running on MySQL and PHP. My original package with 1and1 was a Microsoft package which supported MySQL, but not PHP (I later found out when none of the WordPress scripts were running). I had to switch to a Linux package to get the PHP support.
Now that I got this going, I need to find out what I need to do with the rest of my sites.
